Alex keeps groups small, hosting up to two guests for fishing trips to ensure a focused and productive outing. All rods, reels, and gear are provided, so you can simply arrive ready to fish. A valid Texas fishing license is required prior to the trip.

Beyond fishing, Alex also offers eco and nature tours on Lake Fork, giving guests a chance to explore the area's rich wildlife. These relaxed trips can accommodate up to four guests and often include sightings of alligators, bald eagles, wild hogs, and other native species. For something different, nighttime fly fishing trips are also available, offering a quiet and unique way to experience the lake after dark.

Running trips aboard a 20-foot G3 aluminum center console powered by a Yamaha 115HP engine, Alex ensures a smooth and comfortable ride across the lake. The boat is well-suited for fly fishing and designed for safety and stability.

If you're searching for a Lake Fork fly fishing guide who values teaching, patience, and a personal connection to the water, Alex Guthrie delivers a truly one-on-one experience built around skill, knowledge, and time well spent outdoors.
